Movie Night

Since I had the kids by myself tonight we decided to have movie night. The kids' school was doing it tonight but I didn't feel like taking them to see "Shrek" so we did our own dinner and a movie. I made little tickets on the computer so they could be admitted to the movie and a ticket for their dinner. We had homemade pizza, soda, popcorn and ice cream. I let the kids set up one of their little tents in the living room and they snuggled down into their sleeping bags. We rented "Where the Wild Things Are" but actually didn't finish watching it. It was weird and kind of scary. The kids said it's nothing like the book so we turned it off and rented the new "Free Willy" movie and the kids liked it.

Jess and I HATED "Where the Wild Things Are" and the kids don't really get into it either. Not one I would recommend to anyone.

I am glad you guys had fun at lego land too... It seemed totally fun for everyone.

So creative! Nobody in my family liked "Where the Wild Things Are". Good idea with doing it at home and makeing it like the movies!
