Camping & Hiking

We finally got a chance to go camping! After the initial "there's nothing to do", we all had a great time. My kids learned to play Frisbee golf, practiced baseball, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, went on a hike and played at Lake Tahoe.
As with all camping, the boys got very dirty :)

The Beach, Water Skiing

We worked hard to keep Baby T. out of the sun. He did great at the beach while all 3 boys water skiied (yes even the 5 year old!). We had a great time at the lake. Big T. thought water skiing would be hard so it was fun to see the look on his face when he got up immediately. He had so much fun and couldn't stop talking about it. Big J. and Little J. loved water skiing as well. They even got brave and attempted crossing the wake. They also loved riding behind the boat on the innertube. We didn't get waterski pictures since there weren't enough adults to have one holding the rope, one helping in the water and one driving the boat. Maybe they'll ski again and we can share pictures next time.

Hazy Days, Water Time

The smoke from all the CA fires has finally subsided. This is the sun on one of the really smoky days that lasted at least a couple weeks.

Baby T. loves the water. In the pool or at the beach he loves to be in the water.

NO A/C

Our Air Conditioner is out so we are very HOT. Fortunately we had previously decided to go camping so we spent 3 days in Tahoe which kept us cool. Unfortunately we still have 1-4 more days until the part arrives to fix the A/C. Tomorrow maybe we'll hang out at Mom and Dad's house inbetween picking up some furniture for our house from a friend.

On July 4th we went to Tahoe. The kids loved being buried in the sand by Dad.

More Summer Fun

My kids ask to do "stick races" all the time.

They learned that from Grandma and Grandpa.

They use popsicle sticks and race them around a "track"

(ie: the hose)

We had everyone over for dinner and we did the Pot Meal from the Reunion

Summer Fun

I took the kids to Great Basin Adventure Park and they had a great time. Their favorite was the log ride.
